There are endless ways to contribute to serving the needy. Offering your time to volunteer, supporting the cause financially, spreading the word about upcoming projects, or simple words of encouragement to name a few .
We build public schools in remote villages in Haiti. With $80,000 we can build one school for 400 kids. Our schools not only provide Haitian Children with the opportunity to get an education but also with lunch everyday throughout the school year. For many of these children this is their only hope for a better future.
We build our schools by employing and teaching the local skilled workers how to build in a structurally sound manner. Haiti is in the process of recovery. This is your chance to help rebuild a country!

Matthew Nalywaiko founded Serve A Little in 2009 with the goal of connecting those in need with those who want to help in our local communities and around the world. Haiti had already been on Matthew’s heart so when the opportunity arose to start building schools in Haiti he set out to devise a practical plan of how Serve A Little could empower Haitians to build sustainable schools that would create jobs and educate the children of Haiti.
John Pierremont was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He formerly worked for the Haitian Board of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Haiti, and the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, DC. He is now acting as Serve A Little’s liaison; he handles all communications between our team here in the US and our team in Haiti to keep our projects running smoothly.
Currently CEO of Coastland Civil Engineering in Santa Rosa, John has been involved in the Haiti projects since their inception. John’s primary involvement has included overseeing/providing all engineering and design for the proposed school. Providing safe buildings, educating the unschooled children of Haiti, and assisting in cleaning up the country are the driving factors of John’s hands-on interest in the projects in Haiti.
Big thanks to all our sponsors for their support.
